ONE WAY SLIDES
One Way Slides are designed to easily assist in the correct positioning of a person in the back of a chair and to prevent them slipping forward. The sliding surfaces use a combination of low friction and strips of easy sliding one way materials. For the outer fabric select a non slip cover for use on slippery surfaces (essential) or for regular fabric surfaces: or select a velvet cover with a light fill for added comfort, but only for use on fabric surfaces where its fibres can grip. TRANSFER BOARD (BANANA BOARD)
The Curved Transfer Board is a very hard wearing polyethylene transfer board for seated independent or assisted transfers. The board is shaped to facilitate positioning and features anti-slip pads on the underside for safer location and a convenient carrying handle. COMFORT SWIVEL CUSHION

Polaris’s swivel cushion is designed for use on car seats or for general swivelling. It can help to reduce back strain when entering the vehicle. When entering the vehicle the user sits on the swivel cushion, feet still on the ground, then turns easily or is assisted to turn, into the vehicle. The process is reversed when leaving the car. It is also useful for general swivelling procedures. For example it may be used, under supervision, on the edge of a bed to assist the patient getting on or off. It consists of 2 comfortable cushions, which are held together by a unique swivel. It incorporates a non-slip base to stabilise it on the seat and non-friction material on sliding surfaces for ease of turning. It is equally effective on bucket seats and provides comfortable seating on the longest of journeys. Is washable and can also be lightly brushed or wiped with a damp cloth.
